Hi, I’m Maggie Hodge, the Founder and Principal Consultant of Stride Consulting Solutions.
I began my career in education teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten in New Orleans, and this formative experience solidified my commitment to lifelong learning and leading people to change the world for the better. After a decade as a teacher, school leader, and district leader, I joined a national education consultancy where I was a Senior Consultant advising dozens of school and district leaders around the country. I’ve held roles as the Director of PK-12 Consulting Services growing and scaling a distributed team of leaders in education, and as the Senior Director of Talent Management focused on creating the conditions and enabling systems for people and teams to learn, grow, and thrive. Now as the Founder and Principal Consultant of Stride, I have the opportunity to support and collaborate with system leaders to achieve their most ambitious goals.
I hold an M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision, and in my nearly two decades as a leader in education I have worked with educators at all levels in charter networks, rural, urban, and suburban districts, independent schools, and state education agencies. I’ve led large teams through change to achieve lasting results, driven talent strategy to build people-centered organizations, and I am grounded in my core belief that everything is “figureoutable”. Originally from the Bay Area, I’ve lived and worked in schools in New Orleans, San Francisco, and Austin, TX, which is where I now call home with my husband and two children. When I’m not working with school system leaders I enjoy traveling, fitness, and spending quality time with loved ones.
